Crafted with care from the Shingle Inn Bakery, our Butterfly Patty Cakes are hand-made from scratch with our traditional butter cake recipe, topped with a generous swirl of smooth, velvety buttercream icing and a small drop of sweet jam.

Patty Cake Day
Each Shingle Inn Cake is made with love and care, following a cherished traditional recipe. Our bakers pay close attention to every detail, ensuring that each patty cake that is simply irresistible.
The signature Patty Cake and Butter Cake is a traditional butter cake, topped with a generous swirl of smooth, velvety buttercream icing.
Available in a variety of flavours including passionfruit, chocolate or pink icing. They are available in six packs, however if you’re finding it difficult to decide, we recommend a mixed pack (featuring two of each flavour).

We have an excellent deal with the price and we appreciate the very professional and friendly services. The Manager Kathy is very approachable and friendly. She takes extra miles to meet our requests such as organising a TV screen for the Melbourne Cup race specially for us. As we request, we are seated at a long table outside the dining room area, which provides the atmosphere of space and openness and at the same time complementary to the traditional old charm of the building structure and features. The food is good and the coffee is one of the best in town.”
